Welcome to Hedgehog Class.

The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Miss Ace and Mrs Kelly.

For this, the second half-term of the year, our topics are 'Toy Story' and 'Celebrations.'  We will think about different toys along with toys from the past and present. We then focus on a variety of celebrations from around the world. 

Our P.E. days  will be Tuesday and Wednesday. Please bring a named P.E. kit into school.

We will be working on our three P's of Paddocks; pride, persistence and purpose and exploring how we can feel part of our school community. 

As part of our maths work this half-term we will be thinking about representing and comparing numbers.

We will continue to develop our phonic knowledge by independently segmenting and blending a variety of words.

We will share lots of stories linked to our topics as well as learning the traditional tale 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears.'

We are very much looking forward to continuing our school journey together.
