Family Support Advisor

Our Family Support Advisor (FSA) is Miss Haynes.

Miss Haynes works with both children in school and their families to support with emotional wellbeing and making sure children are able to reach their full potential.

She runs our Nurture Group where children have the opportunity to develop their social and emotional skills and confidence.  She has also trained as an ELSA - Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and runs daily groups across the school developing and teaching skills to enable children to have strong mental health and resilience. Miss Haynes is trained in Mental Health first aid and is our Mental Health and Wellbeing lead.

Another large part of her role is to support families who are experiencing difficulties, for example through a separation or marital breakdown, bereavement or struggling with the stresses of every day life.  Miss Haynes can help families access additional support from outside agencies either directly or through the CAF (Common Assessment Framework) process.  This could include the school nursing team, Young Carers, and Shared Parenting.

Miss Haynes is also our school liaison for Suffolk Young Carers.  Please click here to take a look at their website for further information.

Miss Haynes is available both before and after school to meet with parents.

Her contact details are: mandy.haynes@paddocks.suffolk.sch.uk
