Remote Education

Work can be set remotely for pupils using the Google Classroom platform. Each child has an individual log in and password and are shown in school how to access the site.

Homework for children in years 3-6 is currently set on Google Classroom, alongside supportive materials and guidance.

In the event of unforseen school closure, all learning will revert to the Google Classroom. Depending upon the length and circumstances of closure, tasks will be set for the children and live teaching may take place using Google Meet.  Information will be sent to parents via Arbor and information will also be posted on the school website. 

In the event of individual children not being able to attend school for medical reasons, bespoke arrangements will be put in place in consultation with the school and the family.

The school will not provide remote education for pupils who are absent from school due to unauthorised family holidays or prolonged trips abroad.
