I became a parent governor in 2018 because I wanted to be involved our local community, and have a say in the school’s strategy and future plans. I want to help ensure that Paddocks continues to be an excellent primary school for all of its pupils. I carried out the role of Chair of Governors from November 2020-23. |
Pauline Mitchell |
As a parent with two young children at primary school, I am invested not only in their education but also in that of other children. My passion for education inspires me to want to help and support the school by providing some insight and external perspective that could potentially help the school achieve the best educational outcomes for all its pupils.I believe in supporting the community that children grow up in because adults can have a positive influence over the lives of all children. Having experience in education has enabled me to have the confidence to offer my assistance in any way I can.I am also open to expanding my own learning as well as applying my knowledge for the benefit of the community at large.

I was appointed as a co-opted governor in September 2022 because I wanted to share and use my educational experience with my local community. I have worked in secondary education for over 13 years and understand the importance of children receiving an outstanding education. Within my governor role, I am intent on supporting staff at Paddocks to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for all children. |
